Selling Point galvanized steel coils

Galvanizing is a cost-effective and frequently used anti-rust method, and about half of zinc production is used for this process. Galvanized steel sheets are coated with a layer of metallic zinc on the surface of steel sheets to prevent corrosion on the surface of steel sheets and extend their service life. They are called galvanized sheets. According to the production and processing methods, they can be divided into the following categories:

1: Hot-dip galvanized steel sheets. The thin steel sheet is immersed in a molten zinc tank so that a layer of zinc thin steel sheet adheres to its surface. At present, the continuous galvanizing process is mainly used, that is, the rolled steel sheet is continuously immersed in a molten zinc plating tank to make a galvanized steel sheet;

2: Alloy galvanized steel sheet. This steel sheet is also made by hot dip, but it is immediately heated to about 500℃ after leaving the tank to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good coating sealing and weldability;

3: Galvanized steel sheet. This galvanized steel sheet is manufactured by electroplating and has good processability. But the coating is thin and the corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized sheet;

4: Single-sided galvanized steel sheet and double-sided differential galvanized steel sheet. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet, that is, only one side of the galvanized product. It has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet in welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, processing, etc. In order to overcome the disadvantage of single-sided ungalvanized, another galvanized sheet is coated with a thin layer of zinc, that is, double-sided differential galvanized sheet.

Application galvanized steel coils

Galvalume is a carbon steel that has been coated with aluminum-zinc alloy (55% aluminum, 45% zinc) after going through a continuous hot-dip process. Galvalume is ideally suited for roofing and siding applications, also including cutters and pipes as well as automotive parts and appliances. It can be painted or used bare and has excellent corrosion resistance and a long-life span. It can also be readily formed and stamped.Meanwhile, GL material is also used to make products like PPGL for roofing sheets or, with further technique, GL products can be used for corrugated tiles as well.
